Potluck Projects is an exploration in community and connection in Smithville, TX. Everyone is invited to participate. All events are free and open to the public. No previous experience or preparation required! Come join this Potluck Project as we explore community, connection and our own sense of curiosity. Bringing yourself to the potluck is enough.

Potluck Projects will be in residency at 212 Main. All events will take place at 212 Main St., Smithville, unless noted differently below. More details coming soon.

What’s Possible with Fiber Art?

• Fiber artists from across Bastrop County will demonstrate their skills and methods. Join us to find out more about quilting, slow stitch, eco-dying, crochet, knitting, weaving and needle felting!

• Come sing with your neighbors and others! Songs will be taught during the community sing, focusing on call and response and songs that are community centered and easy to learn. Open to all, no experience (or talent!) required! All circles led by Kim Lehman.

  Story Exchange

• A story circle where we each share a story with a partner, and re-tell our partner’s story. Each Story Exchange will explore specific themes - check back for dates, topics and locations. Looking for community groups or organizations to partner on the story exchange, please contact me if your group is interested.

• Exploring curiosity and connection through movement, text, and story. Workshops will lead to performance, but participation in performance is NOT required. No performance experience? NO problem!
